A lifelong passion for technology. More than two decades of hands-on experience.
Originally from New York, my fascination with technology began in childhood. I was always eager to understand how computers worked, from troubleshooting hardware and software issues to writing my own programs and upgrading systems to keep up with the latest advancements.
That curiosity quickly developed into something more. At just 12 years old, I started my own side business repairing computers and building websites, gaining practical experience and learning to solve real-world technical problems long before beginning my professional career.
Today, with more than 20 years of experience in IT, I work as an Network and Systems Engineer, helping organizations design, implement, secure, troubleshoot, and maintain their technology environments. My background spans hands-on technical work and broader IT problem-solving, giving me an appreciation for both the underlying systems and the business needs they support.
I believe effective IT engineering is about more than keeping systems operational. It requires understanding the root cause of problems, making informed technical decisions, anticipating potential challenges, and developing solutions that are secure, reliable, maintainable, and practical. I take pride in approaching challenges methodically, continuing to learn, and finding ways to make IT work better for the people and organizations that depend on it.
Throughout my career, my interest for the technical field has remained driven by the same curiosity that started it all: understanding how things work, figuring out how to improve them, and tackling challenges that require creative thinking and technical persistence and most important of all, helping people!
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, listening to music, watching documentaries, exploring chemistry, astronomy, and physics, traveling, and tinkering with electronics at my workbench in the garage. These interests reflect a curiosity that extends well beyond IT and a genuine appreciation for understanding the nature of the world around me.
I'm always interested in opportunities to apply my experience, expand my knowledge, collaborate with talented people that I can always learn from, and contribute to meaningful technical and business outcomes.
